La série BG4 est une gamme composée de disques SSD NVMe™ à boitier unique compact offrant des capacités jusqu’à 1024Go, et exploitant une interface PCIe® Gen3 x4 et une mémoire TLC BiCS FLASH™ 96 couches KIOXIA. Avec une bande passante plus large, une gestion améliorée du flash et grâce à le technologie Host Memory Buffer (HMB), les disques SSD BG4 offrent la meilleure performance de lecture parmi les SSD en boitier unique, avec un maximum de 2 300 Mo/s (lecture séquentielle) et de 390 000 IOPS (lecture aléatoire) et avec une consommation énergétique en mode actif allant jusqu’à 3,7 W (de moyenne).

La série BG4 est disponible avec des capacités de 128 Go, 256 Go, 512 Go et 1 024 Go en options boitier unique en saillie de M.2 1620 ou module amovible M.2 2230. Ces disques SSD sont ainsi parfaitement adaptés aux systèmes fins et légers pour les PC ultra-fins, aussi bien que pour des dispositifs embarqués et le démarrage dans les centres de données.

La série BG4 est disponible comme modèle avec l’option Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) prenant en charge la version 2.01. de TCG Opal.
